In the Army, we couldn't have a beard and one of the reasons why is because the Pro Masks (a gas mask) that we use needed to create a seal on our faces.  Now for the mouse decontamination, all I'm using is a disposable mask made by 3M.  But still, I want it to rest against me right.  Secondly, I want my beard to be one last thing to worry about in my own decontamination.  So today, I used my electric hair clippers to get it and my head.  Now I just have to follow up with a razor.
