The off-road trail for the Road Fork Section is probably located in the most remote portion of the Buckeye Trail, maybe even the state itself (that's accessible by the public).   I base that off of services in New Martinsville, West Virginia be 35 miles, Marietta of Washington County at 38, Woodsfield of Monroe County at 21, and Caldwell of Noble County, Ohio at 30 miles.  No matter where you go in this area, the roads are going to twist and turn.  They'll do this all the way to Woodsfield and Caldwell.
