I got a call from the shop today.  The owner took it on the freeway and besides the tires being out of balance and said that everything seemed fine.  I told him that the problems don't start until 90 minutes into the drive and that's an improvement from 40.  With the error code, right now we're looking at replacing the low pressure fuel pump.  I don't have an estimate yet because he's got to tally the price of the parts and see what it entails to drop the gas tank and put it back up.
