The first of two key fobs for my 2008 Chevy HHR LS was replaced today at 147,504 miles.  If I had to guess, they both went dead around 100k miles.  Each of them were to the point that the chips inside of them were damaged, so I had to get this one replaced at the Classic Chevy dealership in Mentor of Lake County for $136.59 out the door.

About 3 miles before this, I had the wheels balanced and the alignment done at Firestone, also of said city and county.  I took it on I-90 today today and found that my vibrations stopped.  Turns out that I did more damage on one of the Arc of Appalachia's eastern roads in Adams County than I thought.  But it's in good condition to take to the Buckeye Trail Association's board meeting in Dublin of Franklin County (outside of Columbus) tomorrow.

Oil, oil, air and cabin air filters changed today on my 2008 Chevy HHR LS. The  mileage on the odometer is as shown in the attached picture. Also, the tailgate release mechanism was replaced, but that did not alleviate the tailgate's failure to pop problem.

Upon inspection, I found that the left front strut blew it's bottom seal. It probably took too much stress on the unimproved road in the Arc of Appalachia.

The mileage on my 2008 Chevy HHR LS is as pictured. Today, I replaced the missing bolt in my axle mount frame. There are a total of three and they mount the wheel bearing.

Judging by the looks of it, I'd say that the rear disposition on my 2008 Chevy HHR LS has improved by 1-1/4" while resting after I replaced and upgraded the rear shocks.

Another thing about where the car is sitting in this photo is that about 5 of my cars have been regularly parked there in the easement. As a result, it has depressed wheel slots towards the rear. But the front is on a slight high. In the past, the car use to look like it was in more disrepair than it actually was when it was parked there.
